Get More Google Reviews
In today’s blog, we’re going to look at 8 ways to help you get more Google reviews.
In any competitive local market, your products, services, customer experiences and prices are all important factors to potential buyers.
However price is rarely an issue once customers are confident in your service level and offerings.
Your reviews ARE your reputation. And Google reviews are becoming increasingly important to your customers, as a quick way to gauge this.
Reviews Really Count!
But did you know that as much as 57% of prospective customers now expect a local business to have more than 11 reviews?
And 90% of people read reviews before visiting your website.
Basically the more reviews you collect, the more potential customers can learn about your business, as well as help them build trust and confidence.
At Chrome-Creative, we are rooting for you, and want you to get the best possible start.
And one way we do that is by teaching you how to add value to your site, and your whole business, by collecting your hard earned Google reviews.
So here we are, here’s:
8 WAYS TO GET MORE GOOGLE REVIEWS:

1) Ask!
It might be weird at first, but get used to asking your customers in person, and train your staff to do the same.
Not to mention, this is made much easier with the Google My Business App, which we talked about in our earlier blog.

2) Email
Alternatively, try writing a simple email instead.
Bare in mind that many just won’t reply, and that’s ok. It’s not personal. Not everybody has the time.
However most people understand the importance of supporting small local businesses now, and as long as they have had a positive experience with your company, they will be happy to help.

3) On Your Site
Since you have a fabulous new website, could we add a popup on your website with a link to you Google listing?

4) Social Media
Let your social media followers know that they can review you and give them the link.

5) Advertising
Including a testimonial as part of your advertising strategy really works, particularly if you show off your genuine Google reviews.
Try schedule posting on your business Facebook page for example, or sharing a screenshot of your latest Google review on Instagram.
Tip: Don’t forget to reply to your Google reviews!

6) Social Listening
If you observe large companies behaviour on social media, you will see that when people comment or converse about the brand, the company respond.
You could always respond with thanks, and ask whether they would be happy to leave you a review (using the link you provide).

7) Email Signature
Another great tip is to include a star-rating in your email signature.
This reminds customers that you’re collecting, as well as building trust through your reputation.
And also add a line that says ‘leave us a review’ and link to your Google page to boost engagement and conversions further still.

8) Newsletters
Perhaps you send a monthly newsletter to your regular clients?
If so, be sure to include a link to your Google review listing on ever newsletter you send.
TIP:
Once you have got a fair few Google reviews, continue with these practises, only work on another review platform, such as Yelp for example.
